It's Time to Celebrate

  1. If you want a grand entrance, have the music playing when you walk in and immediately do your first dance. If not, do it at the very end of the night.

  2. Have your MC give a short welcome speech and then serve the starters. You don't want a hungry audience, so fill their bellies with food before the formalities.

  3. Put a time limit on the speeches.

  4. If you're jumping out for sunset photos, the MC can pause proceedings. The guests like this as it gives them a chance to grab a drink and freshen up.

  5. It may seem funny but you should practise throwing the bouquet/garter before the wedding day. You’ll be surprised how many people throw it straight up in the air and down again instead of towards the crowd. Throw it with one hand so that we can see your face and always check with us to make sure we are ready before you throw it.
